97 Outback Limited Badging needs Replaced

I recently got a 97 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited after having a 88 Jeep Cherokee for 4 years and I'm loving it. The Jeep was in too poor of cosmetic condition to do some upgrades, so now I want to make the OB my own.

 

I want to remove the gold Limited badging from the car to clean the car up. I've been scouring the forums on how to remove the decals and the badging and paint the wheels, so I now know how to do that. However, I would like to replace the subaru emblems on the front grill and rear door with silver emblems. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the forums or online that sells them.

 

Any suggestions?

 

(BTW This site has now made my night shifts at work so much more enjoyable)

Thats a really good idea. If I do that I'd like to have some an extra or two around, so I'm still looking to purchase one somewhere.

No one sells new ones besides maybe the dealer and they are spendy. Check the local junk yard.

everytime I go junkyarding I pick them up usually only get 1 or 2 but I've been to all my favorite junkyards way to much apperently cause the last couple of times I have not been able to find any
