5EAT weird noise during shifts

Hi all. I didn't know which sub forum to put this in but I'll try here.

 

I have a 5EAT and I'm getting a weird "howl" noise between shifts. Or rather "wind noise"? Kind of hard to describe. Recent mods were fmic, k&n SRI, perrin lwcp. i know this isn't the "whoosh" sound because that is when I let go of the gas pedal when im over 3k rpm or something. But it happens when i am on the gas pedal and the car is shifting. If i go into manual mode and change gears with my foot off the pedal. the noise isn't there. (ie: 1st gear foot on pedal, let go of foot, up shift, put foot back on pedal). I'm hoping this is normal..... Otherwise i might go crazy
