Jeffzguy
I have a 91 legacy l sedan automatic, if I were to get a 91 legacy l wagon with a 5 speed could I just bolt everything in? I would need the flywheel, clutch assembly, trans and the ecu with harness? Maybe even the gauge cluster is that all? Basically just replace flexplate with flywheel and bolt in the clutch and trans then swap the wiring and ecu and fire it up? Oh and is the wiring I would need to swap seperate from the body harness, like does it disconnect at the firewall like my nissan?
wish
better off just buying that wagon and selling your car. too much of a hassle. wagons also have cheaper insurance and are just way more useful cause you can haul so much more stuff.
Jeffzguy
But the wagon has a blown head gasket and bald tires...

Jeffzguy
So its just ECU, trans and clutch stuff, and a bunch of work? How about gauges, will it matter that the gauges have the auto trans selector stuff on it?
sqc151
also u might be able to get away with an auto ecu too. (i have to find the thread i read awile back)(but for the 50 bucks might as well get a manual ecu) gauges should be fine. but if u can find a manual cluster get it.
