Outbackusjunkus
So I planned on swapping the 2.5 out of a crashed 2007 Outback into a good 2005 Outback with a bad rod (also 2.5). Both engines are stock, non turbo. I figured on using the '05 intake, especially since the '07 has only two fuel lines running to the intake while the '05 has 3. But then I noticed the '07 has some extra sensors on the left head. You can see the diff in the pics, may have to click on to enlarge...'07 on left, '05 on right. What are they and are they needed I guess is the question, and can I swap intakes and leave these unplugged?
Outbackusjunkus
I'm screwed, its VVT (variable timing). Anyone need an VVT engine let me know, 35,000 miles.
