bschaff
Do I need a tune if I only install a magnaflow CBE and k&n air filter? My gt is completely stock right now.

bschaff
Am I going to have any problems? I'm thinking not but just making sure
tzdevil323
No problems will come from those "upgrades". CBE and drop-in panel filters dont require a tune. If you go with an aftermarket intake then it would. I'm hungry:bbq:This burger is never gonna cook.
rtbrjason
The tune is the most important part of all that though. You should add a downpipe to your exhaust and a stage 2 OS tune.
bschaff
Ya I was plannig on doing that in a bit. Will any dp fit right with the magnaflow or will I have a problem with some of then lining up good and everything.
peteyjr
Some will some won't, I had to modify my INVIDIA DP to MAGNAFLOW CBE
bschaff
Whatd you do to modify it? I was looking at the Invidia catted DP or the Cobb DP. Does anyone know if you have to modify the cobb?
VIIIFe
I have stock CBE since I figured I'd spend that money on performance/suspension upgrades rather than sound, but I got the CNT/ERZ catted downpipe. It fit perfect, works great, and was a heck of a lot cheaper than the other downpipes. Once you go stage 2 there's no looking back. It's like getting a new car! peteyjr
I believe Fred Beans has the donut to flat flange adapter. You would need that if you did the Invidia/Magnaflow combo. I've heard good things about the ERZ DP. Personally, I prefer the Invidia over the Cobb (Have had both). To be sure of mating options you can do a search or post in the exhaust section of this forum. If not check with the animal planet site.
