tnwlf13
I know a couple of you guys are pretty knowledgeable on Audis and I had a quick question for a friend of mine. She replaced the coil packs at her own cost, unaware of the recall program. I checked the audi website and it says submissions for reimbursement had to be postmarked by Feb 28th of this year. The only thing that confuses me is that it also states that some people were not informed of the recall until April of 2010. All that being said, does my friend have any clearly defined recourse? Or is my best bet to just try and work through Audi USA and make some headway there? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.
redleg6
Depends on the dealer she is going through. Audi USA can be hard tough to deal with over the phone. If she bought the coilpacks through the dealer, then she may get recouped for it. If not, she can still try to talk with the Audi service manager and explain it fully. Hope that helps.
