spartan
What prices are you guys getting for these, are you forking over the $175 per that tire rack is charging?
Dacaveman
I ran falken Azenis Rt 615's this summer. They were awesome. I only ended up paying 380 in store after the $50 mail in rebate. I ran 225 45 17 on 17.8.5. They stick really well and they were even better than my dedicated winter tires in the rain.
The_Bishop
Pretty sure mine were $123 a corner from TR for the 225/17 when purchased late winter...you may want to wait a bit unless you really need them. I think some tire prices can be seasonal.. Looks like they are $135 now for that size, but not sure what size you are spec-ing. I feel $135 is still very reasonable for what you get with this tire. I started the season auto-xing my car so I have about 2.8 deg negative camber in the front on Tein Flex's. That's a little much for a DD from a tirewear perspective. I have some pretty heavy wear on the inside corner and the tire blocks have saw-toothed a bit causing some road noise around 40mph. I now am auto-xing my cobra, so I will take the camber back a degree or so before I put my winter set on.. (dunlop M3's - another great tire from dunlop) http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+Sport+Z1+Star+Spec - Allen.
