rengeko Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 i just bought a '92 legacy wagon with a bad auto seat belt, and i wonder if there is a way to convert it to manual with a set from the back seat? i just don't like the auto kind, since they usually strangle me. so i'm looking for an alternative. anyone with any advice? there's also the point that i am probably not legal with the belt not working. sqc151 Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 no, u cant make the back seatbelts work for the front. the rears dont have the spool to wind up the belt. plus theres no where to mount them, and would probly be more illegal than just using ur auto belts in the fixed position.
