GT: upgrade to power seats?

Can anyone provide guidance with respect to converting an 05 Legacy GT wagon from the standard seats to the six-way power seats?

any reason why Outback (05-09 series) seats won't fit?

They'll fit just fine (physically). What you CAN do before you buy is remove your current seats and verify that your car is wired for the power seats (it should be, but I've never had a non-limited so i've never checked myself). You could also check the official 'want to swap interiors' thread in the classified section (stickied at the top) to see if indeed everything is plug and play.

 

Here's the wiring harness for the seat in a 2005 Limited LGT. I did a swap over from an OBXT interior to an LGT wagon interior and everything went perfect (except I now have an airbag light I need to figure out why).
