PPower
Obviously there will only be one choice for cloth, but there seems to be quite a few interested in the Limited model. This isn't necessarily what you WILL get because the light color obviously won't go with silver. Just pick which what you like disregarding whether it would match the exterior or not. Dr. Zevil
Although I do like the cream very much. I think I would have to stick with black since it would be less likey to show dirt and wear. So I guess I would have to go with black. I might change my mind if I went for the black exterior though.
PPower
Black will definitely be hotter in the summer, and it will show any cracks much more than cream (if you don't keep it conditioned). Cream looks stunning, and you know it's a Limited at a glance since there is no cream cloth. The downside with cream is that the headliner still looks to be gray, and it doesn't match. You also seem to get the Plastood instead of Plastiluminum around the console area. The gray burled walnut look would be awesome if it were real, but even the pictures of the plastic look bad. akm3
Of course, if I can get Cloth, a sunroof and a manual I would get that. But I voted black if I have to get leather to get the sunroof and manual. Of course, my opinions may be changing about the manual too, the sportshift sounds pretty cool. I guess I have to wait and save$$$.

Kasugai
Kid and dog require black I'm afraid. Ok, I'm not that neat myself so let me not blame it entirely on them. Cream seems sensual but black is sensible (and not a little sexy).

GBY
Black rocks...only way to go with kido's.
I second that, with the amount of crap my kids drop in the Rex it's almost worth having plastic seats.
AMT4SWA
Living in Austin, TX makes black a tough color for the interior in the summer, but with two daughters (8 and 9) the black interior in my 02 IS300 looks very very good for an 18 month old car. If I had tan or light gray (Quartz) my car would look like $hit...especially the back seat.
username
the need-desire website describes the seats as "perforated leather-trimmed upholstry" does anyone know what "trimmed" means?
AMT4SWA
Leather piping at the seam areas...helps protect seams from fraying and separating for durability. All top of the line cars with leather seating have this now a days...good thing! We get the piping on the lower center seat cushion (high stress wear area...where your butt is when driving) areas for the new Legacy...the rest of the seat areas has dual stitched seams...look at the pictures and you will see what I mean. legacy92ej22t
I voted black too. It may be a little hotter in summer but it looks a lot better then the cream IMO and won't show the wear as fast.
Yukonart
It's ALL about the blackness when leather's involved. ;)
PPower
Once you go black, you never go back! I thought that the leather trimmed was that it may have leather on the main seating areas and synthetic covering the blackside of the seat. I certainly hope that it is full leather. btw, I went black as well because the cream w/ gray headliner is bugging me.
waflowers
I prefer the look of black, but I voted "cream" because I hate to imagine climbing into a car with black leather after sitting 9 hours in the Florida July sun!

rkl303
I love the cream interior. Bad with jeans and other stuff that have strong dyes, as well as mud and dirt on the carpet but I feel its a little more cleaner with it. I still hate the color of the wood used around the console area though

Guest clawdnb
i vote creme leather....black is just too hot when left in direct sunlight and ages waay faster and worse than a lighter color leather

Get your smiley butt out of my face!:D:p I saw both at the dealer and originally wanted black but upon seeing the cream I was mildy surprised at how good it looked (IMHO), so I went with it... For the next few days of 90 degree weather I do not envy the black leather owners... even though all these cars just seem to retain heat no matter what color of the interior is...
