Kentbox
Hi, I recently took my 1998 Subaru Legacy GT on a 500km road trip. The next time I jumped in my car, my check engine light was one. So, with the ignition off, I hooked up the 2 green terminals under my steering wheel, and turned on my ignition. Now the check engine light blinks nonstop, while the cars rad fans go on, then faster, then faster, then off, repeat, all while hearing the little electrical "clicks". Any ideas? Car drives fine. Kentbox
Ok, I just saw that you need to start your car. My bad. ...nevermind. Still blinks constantly.
Stang70Fastback
Wait, what green things are you connecting?! Wouldn't it be easier to just go to AutoZone and get the codes read?
Kentbox
I'm in Canada. There's no Autozone here. Connecting the green terminals puts it in test mode and gives you blinking codes. I just read something about the constant blinking meaning nothing is wrong with your car, but why would my CEL come on all of the sudden?
98quiksilvergt
I think that only works with obd1 cars.
