BanzGotBoost
Hey fellas, so I brought my wagon into the local Subie dealership here in WV for them to check out my bumper (clip came loose) and the guy was nice enough to make sure everything else was kosher with the car. He found out that my car was affected by the cooling fan recall, and I was told the ECU and relay would be replaced for free. Question is, I have an ERZ downpipe, Grimmspeed up, and a Perrin TMIC (Stage 2), and I was wondering if the car would be okay to drive until I get the new ECU flashed (if i can figure out how the heck to do it). Thanks again guys

technicalgarage
you could dump the rom and save it, have the ecu replaced, then reflash (if it's the same rom revision). If it's not the same rom, dump the new rom, then copy the tables over from your old rom to the new dump, save and reflash.
