Duffman
Soooo, while doing the LGT suspension swap into my OBXT, I noticed that it seems like the passenger side front CV boot seems to have spilt it's guts... Does anyone know if that will be covered under the powertrain warrantee?
Noeladams
mine was covered with the 100 dect. ( I have a CPO w/Gold Plus, I think)
Duffman
Thanks for the info. I'm still under the factory 60k mark so I'm hoping it will be covered. I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow. I was hoping for some insight before then.
joeblow
You may have before you swapped the suspension. It'll be way too easy for the service department to blame the bad CV boot on the swapped suspension, even if it was already worn/torn before the swap. It's cool; I'm with the band
Duffman
yeah, that's the other thing i'm worried about...
Duffman
It's not covered. Since I bought the car second hand, no upgraded warrantee. it's not covered by the standard powertrain warrantee.
