RedDragonV09 Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 I have 3 CEL codes right now. I have an 05 LGT 5EAT The CEL is on and the Cruise light is blinking. P0171 System too lean... maybe a bad o2 sensor P0701 Transmission control system out of range for the current engine operating conditions??? wtf does that mean? P0817 Starter enable circuit??? Bad starter relay maybe? but I have NO starting issues. Anybody ever have any of these codes? I looked through the forums and found nothing on them. Any help or input would be appreciated. On my 04 Sentra, you turn on the key, stomp the accelerator pedal a few times, wait, hold it, and the cel will blink the codes out. Then you hold the pedal again for it to erase the codes. TFBHTMFSNE Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 System too lean - yeah, could be a bad AF sensor, but it also could be low fuel pressure, a leak in the intake or exhaust system, etc. Really needs to be properly diagnosed by a competent technician. Question on your starter code - do you have a remote engine start installed? Sometimes they can cause the light to trip. And no, there is no pedal dance. Sorry.
