blackturboblack
I have already successfully flashed to stg 1. I can't understand why it won't log. I plug wire into AP then insert key, then connect cobb. Cobb recognizes car says press okay to start logging. I do that then start car. I see the RPMs displayed in real time but there is also a message saying NOT LOGGING. What the hell am I missing?
the_3d_man
Hit the OK button again and it will start logging (the round middle button). Hit that button again to stop logging. It was confusing at first to me too.
blackturboblack
^^^^^^^ thank you. That's exactly what I did. Then I had problems d/l logs to the AP manager! Uninstalled, reinstalled fixed that. Okay. But. The .excel file format is cool, but I remember an app that read .csv files and let you make changes in the map itself. Anybody know which app it is? Boostin1657615274
are you talking about accesstuner race? On the search for a new DD...
blackturboblack
are you talking about accesstuner race? I'll be damned if I know. But when I was fooling with tatrix they had some type of app that did it. Read .hex and .scv files, I believe.
goneskiian
You can't alter COBB's off the shelf maps with the AP Manager. All it does is "magage" your map database. You'll need AccessTuner Race (free) or their professional tuning software ($$$???) to actually alter maps. "Is there an APP for that!?!"  The tactrix cable is used in opensource tuning... http://www.romraider.com Cheers!
blakout
If you go to cobb's website you can request AccessTuner Race (http://accessecu.com/register/cobb.php - takes you directly to the request form) Just make sure you have the serial number (the 10 digit one, not the one that says serial in the info menu on the AP) Takes 24 hours to get the software and will take you much much much more than that to figure out. There are tons more parameters on ATR than on the AP.

blakout
I would just get a hold of infamous. He is reall busy lately with the group buy, but his work is trusted from many many people here. When I installed ATR I looked through it and closed the program. Way too much for me to even try to figure out since I dont know anything when it comes to tuning.
