Subfan Posted June 5, 2010 Share Posted June 5, 2010 Hi guys- I am sure I could find this answer online, but who better to ask than the experts . The e/t function on my car only works if I pause for a second before starting the car. This is something I think I can train myself to do, however, this brought up another question I thought I would ask about. I read that there was a fix for this via a software update from the dealer. There lies the problem, my car is a 2006, so the 3 year warranty is done, however, it just passed the 10,000 mile mark today (I know, low miles, picked it up from an 86 year old lady). Back on topic, do you think the dealer would still cover this under warranty? or am I stuck re-training myself how to start my car? Thanks for your help.
