jasondaven
I have a 05 outback XT with 41,000 that I recnetly bought and the vehicle does not shift into 2nd smoothly. I drained and refilled the unit with Super S. It is a little bit better. Someone mentioned replacing shifter bushings. Are their linkage adjustment that I can make? If so how do I go about making them? I do not have my service manual yet. st and 2nd are also whine a bit under load. Is this normal with the 5MT? This is the first subaru that I have owned so I have not basline to compare to. 3rd and higher are much quiter. Thanks for any advice.
