richardg1952
I found the yellow and black label on the visor annoying so I peeled it off. Unfortunately it left behind a square of adhesive residue. Any ideas on how to clean it off without damaging the visor material (ivory). TIA
D-2.5-GT
little bit of goo gone works wonders. Put some on and let it soak in for a second, then rub away, the sticky stuff will kind of flake off a bit. Don't be worried, the liquid might make the visor look stained afterwords, it dries away. Did one of mine just the other day
almondcookie
goo gone straight from the bottle? my sprayer doesn't work. goo gone is almost as thick as molasses so i have to do the rag over the top and tip it over style. do you at least make the towel or rag wet or just dry? goo gone is suppose to be some really strong stuff. D-2.5-GT
I did the onto a rag then onto the visor, still could see right away where the goo gone kind of soaked in. Then i took that same rag and rubbed back and forth. After it dried up a little, the sticky substance started to flake off with the rag rubbing it. Then let the visor dry, it will dry normal. You won't need much, just enough to cover the area a little...i wouldn't dump it straight on as you will probably use too much.
