L2005gt
So i blew the turbo on my 05 LGT mt today. Just yesterday i ordered an AP and Cobb DP and new rotors. I currently just have a cat-back exhaust and hks bov on the car. what would be my best way to go as far as replacing stock turbo or upgrading to the vf52? And if i upgrade to the vf52 are the injectors the only thing that would need upgraded also? thanks if anyone can point me in the right direction. L2005gt
can tune be done with AP?
Scooter
You wouldn't be able to use the maps that come with the AP from Cobb. You'll have to pay for a new tune for a VF52 on your car. Most tuners offer your choice of either creating maps for the AP or Open Source maps that you can upload via a laptop. (No AP needed.) Search is your friend: there are tons of similar threads here with all the info you need. How many miles were on your car? Search for the threads about the banjo bolt filter and replacing your oil cooler to help prevent future failures, if you aren't already familiar with those topics. Seek first to understand, then to be understood. In other words: SEARCH before you post!
