Kw521 Posted April 28, 2010 Share Posted April 28, 2010 I had been looking around for different set ups to make the note of my exhaust louder and more aggressive. I have a 3 in SPT on right now and it sounds good but a little too quiet for my sake. So I decided to change it. Today I went to a very reputable muffler guy around my area. I told him what i wanted. I had the mufflers unbolted and the guy took some piping the same size that lead into the mufflers. Put flanges on it so that it would bolt up to the stock fitment. Basically he "straight Piped" it from the axle back. So where the mufflers from the spt used to be its straight piped with 3.5 inch angle cut pipes on the end. It looks stock for the most part but sounds amazing! I will have to post a video up here. Its quiet when cruising but as soon as i get on it all hell breaks loose. There is not a bad drone or anything of the sort either. And if i want to change things up i can bolt the mufflers back up for a more quiet tone. I like it and its very mean sounding. As you can see its stock looking as well.
