kopke
EDIT: I the search engine did not come up whit any good answers Greatings. It's time to give MY '06 some love. It's a 2.0 lux version whit a auto climate. Gx-201 HU. Sedan Let's face it. The Audio system we are given is not the best on the market. I'm going to improve mine. I have not yet pikt the sub, speakers or amp but that's not important. The wires on the other hand. That's wear I have a problem. I got my self a converter. I simply don't have the $$$ for a din. I'll have to live whit the ******* EQ the HU has. From what I have bin reading getting to the spacer wires in the back doors is not to hard. But I'm not feeling like braking my interior. So how do I get to the dam wires? simple pop-out or are there some hidden clips I need to know off? http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/6936/p4150038.jpg Next is the ACC. I'll be getting that from the center box in the car where I have a 12v plug. But I have to get the dam box out of there. How? http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/2046/p4150039.jpg And then it's the power wire and that's wear I'm completely lost. I'm not going to drill any holes in my car that's for sure. So how do I get a wire from the battery in the front to the trunk:confused: I know it's hardly necessary but I'll pose some pics in 2 hours. I will do my best to make a GRATE DIY after I'm done. If my dam camera will make it.

MaStaMooN
Power wire can be pulled through a grommet in a few places on the firewall. I used the unused portion found in the driver side kick panel. All you need to do is pull the fender liner from the driver side wheel well to see it. Make an X with an exacto knife and start pushing the wire through.. you should be able to retrieve it very easy inside the cabin at that point. Then you just pull up the carpet along the doors by removing the side sills and lay the wire through. Its pretty easy once you get going.. just take it one step at a time. I taped the same spot for my remote wire (cig lighter in arm rest).. think you gotta pull the center console to get to it though.. cant remember. Good luck! biz77
RAAMmat is to keep noise out of interior. If I were to do it again I would use the mat very sparingly and use more of the cloed-cell foam to keep road noise out. Difference in sound? Yes, it does make it a bit louder. Lift up at the front of the bottom cushion. You need to be forceful. You'll then see the bolts holding the seat back in place. Undo bolts and lift seat back straight up and out. Be very careful with the interior trim peices. The front ones come off easy, the back ones require patience. Use an interior removal tool to get under the panels and pop the clips that hold them in place.
