dgrix
Hi guys, I'm going to pick up a used AP off a local TSC member up here in Toronto Canada. I'm new to the ap for the 05 legacy gt limited wagon 5EAT (previously owned 02 wrx cobb stage II) . I have a couple questions #1 - whats the quickest way to make sure its unmarried? #2 - do we need init connectors for install like my 02 wrx did? because he cant find the box says he only has the unit, cable and cd. #3 - what maps does my car require? I see the 2005 and 2005.5 excuse me for being a noob but I cant figure out which one is for my car. Thanks in advance
Darkness of Death
I'll be meeting up with this forum member later. i'll let him know 1 - if you can get power to the AP module, you can check if it's unmarried or not. 2 - 05 you'll need to connect the green wires under the dash, on the passenger side. it's around the end of the carpet, not sure if it's actually under the carpet though. Balrock
How much for the AP? You would be better off getting the Ebay VAG-COM cable and getting an open source tune. If you are set on getting the AP I would still get ahold of Infamous1 and get an E-tune for your car and any mods. He does opensource and V2 AP's.
