I know I've heard of other first gens having this problem, and I think I once saw an article about replacing the shifter with one from an outback or something, but I searched and can't find any info now. Could someone give me an idea of what shifter to swap with, or maybe a link to the right info? Or maybe suggest and aftermarket shifter that doesn't use this set up where the shift rod just slips on over that stupid rubber nub? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
