clarkwgriswold
I work in the car audio industry and I'm pretty well educated in wiring and installations. I was just wondering why the need to color match when the wires should not be seen. That's all.
schwinn
That sounds like more of a pain to go buy 2 types of wire, ends and crimpers. Just curiuos why you need wire to "match" when the wire shouldn't be seen anyway? No need to buy different wire. I simply used my previous Bel wiring job (barrel connector) and crimped an RJ connector onto it, instead. Easy enough. For those wondering, mine is wired to a switched 12V+ lead in the map-light area... I think it was one of the ones for the homelink mirror that I don't have? This way, I didn't have to run a wire up the A-pillar, as I usually do...

I'm betting it's because there's just that tiny little "tail" showing. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
