atcvader Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 Today I tried to change out my factory battery and found out I couldn't fit the battery in due to the intercoller piping that goes over the battery. There was some fitment issues(battery was too tall). Anyone know of a battery that might not be as tall as other non factory batteries.. Subaru says they do not carry the same battery as factory, because they only come from japan. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
yamie700 Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 I installed the itsme FMIC and I replaced the stock battery right before I did. I just went to fleet farm (local farm and equipment store) measured the batteries and found one that was the same dimensions as stock except 1" shorter, it was only $57 also.
