09Legacy Posted March 28, 2010 Share Posted March 28, 2010 soo... i think i bottomed out my rear HK sub... almost positive i didnt blow it cause certain sounds come from the speaker, its only when i get to certain dB that the speaker starts to rattle and sound all crappy... any recommendations on what i should do? m sprank Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 You blew the voice coil. Most likely a piece of wire came loose and is scratching the pole when it moves. Something.
