elchrispy
So, I purchased a set of X02 mufflers from another member on here. I already knew about the alignment issues with the LGT mufflers that a lot of guys complained about so I went up to my buddy's shop to see what we could do about fixing the way they fit the car. We looked at several different options including modding the hangers but to make a long story short, we couldn't really make anything work short of cutting and re-welding the piping going to the muffler. So that's what we did haha. Anyways, here's the pics: Before modding: http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691325.jpg Passenger side after modding compared to driver side before: http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691330.jpg http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691333.jpg Finished product: The driver side one sits slightly lower than the driver side one but we had already worked on it for so long that we just called it good. (It's less than a 1/4" lower...) http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691336.jpg http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691339.jpg http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL1124/4031247/23077837/384691344.jpg 2007 Spec.B

Vitamin_G
So it is the mufflers themselves that have the fitment issue? Has anyone tried bolting the Y-pipe to stock cans with success?

Vitamin_G
Good enough for me, damn exhaust shop wants 900$ for a 3" SS mandrel bent Y-Pipe with flanges. I could buy almost 3 of these exhaust systems for that....
Spec B
I used heavyduty zip ties to raise up the mufflers...they have held for over 2 years.
Vitamin_G
How did you like the sound of the stock mufflers on the X02 mid? I heard a soundclip on youtube and it seemed super raspy but maybe he did something weird...
