Jterp
Hey guys so after coming back from the beach I went to an automated car wash to get my baby cleaned... next morning i noticed the passenger's side headlight housing had excess moisture inside : ( ... any pointers on how I could get rid of it??? I did install an HID conversion kit like a month ago so i had to drill the cap that houses the low beam bulb.... the kit came with a grommet though. As always any help is greatly appreciated. thanks : )
theflystyle
prolly not from the carwash but just the moisture that got in from drilling the cap for the wires. How did you seal them? If you search headlight moisture or something to that degree you will find other posts. i think i remember reading about something from lowes or home depot that absorbed moisture. Jterp
i just used the grommet that came with the kit.... should i seal the outer ring of the grommet to the cap? maybe with silicone? thanks!
clarkwgriswold
The stuff you want is called damp rid from lowes. Moisture is hard to get rid of completely. I recomend to follow the headlight clearing instructions. (It's alot easier than it looks) and that way you know you got all the water.
