executor485
Rockstar sponsored Scion Tc with a nascar V8 putting down over 600 HP drifting in California. While I may not be a big fan of scions, and it is true that it's modified heavily, it's still a good watch. loserpro2
is it still FWD? assuming from the large use of the handbrake to initiate a drift instead of the scandinavian flick.
executor485
is it still FWD? assuming from the large use of the handbrake to initiate a drift instead of the scandinavian flick. Almost 100% that it was converted to RWD for a few reasons. 1) Watch as it goes into slow mo around some corners, pretty sure the back tires are the ones smoking while spinning 2) Since it was a V8 conversion, pretty sure there was no room left for a FWD setup If I pass you on the right, I'm flipping you off. Fossil2k2
You're almost 100% sure? I hope you're kidding... There isn't a chance in hell that's a FWD car. I don't even know how they can still call that a Scion. I'd like to know how many parts on that car came from the factory, other than the majority of the body panels. mustangendsley
That is a factory nascar engine in it. My friend Brendan here in GJ is Tanner's cousin. He said he was going to do this this year and it was sweet to watch this. One of the best drifters in the world.
05GT Guru
He is a good driver and yes any real drift car is RWD not to mention one with a v8 swap.

TrueWhiteBoy
Hahaha, I like the similarities between this and the Monster Ken Block videos. Nice. I wish I could get California Highway Patrol to clear that stretch of road for me, I'm not that far away from it

loserpro2
i would have wished toyota considered that when they first released the scion tc. other than the australian toyota aurion v6 sport or something, the scion tc should be the only other sporty car toyota makes.
