I used it on ski sidewalls to make them silky smooth. Will dissolve any plastic in a heartbeat. You could test fate, or just get some sand paper, or one of those wet sanding kits. I works! thats an old detail trick, wet sanding with 1000/2000/3000 grit removes the pits as well. 3m sells a a compound i used to use but cant recall the name... underpowerd Posted March 10, 2010 Share Posted March 10, 2010 3m fine cut, well worth the 10 ducats, perfect for finishing after the progressive wetsanding. did it on my old car, leg hasn't needed it. the job works well, but is very labor intensive and takes longer than one might imagine.
