GTLEGACY007
I'm getting ready to install a boost gauge and oil pressure gauge in my cubby pod. I've seen a couple of write-ups on here about how to install gauges, route the tubing, etc. but i'm wondering what you guys used to tap into for power? rymac320
^ +1. did this on mine. i have absolutely NO electrical experience and i did this on my own without any problems. this will give you the answers on what to tap into. - wouldn't hurt to test your own harness with a multimeter to ensure there are no differences in his to your model year if you want to be absolutely sure. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96996

One more question though: It's obvious to me that the signal wire from the oil pressure gauge is not long enough to reach the oil pressure sender. What's the best (read easiest) way to go about extending it to the lenth I need?

rymac320
^ +1billion. bought the center cubby pod from that guy. it was at my front door in no time and fit perfectly. the instructions were great, simple, precise. in order to get my two 52mm gauges in properly it did take about 5 minutes of dremel-ing. subiedad51
Here's what your completed install will look like - Oil on the left, Turbo on the right. I have the Prosport (yeah I know they suck ) 52mm gauges. Sweep like our gauges and a pretty good match.
mustangendsley
I just got my Defi boost gage and have the avo pod. how hard is wiring the gage up? The pics in the engine bay helped for that, but what wires did you lead into for the gage, and were does the little Defi box go in the engine bay?
