djsauce
On the Cobb website it says that their maps for Stage 2 are only good for adding a turbo-back exhaust only. If I were to add a CAI what maps would I have to use?
Boostin1657615274
you would need a protune. the intake will probably need a custom MAF calibration. On the search for a new DD...
NJLGT
also note that the stock intake isn't a hindrance until 300+ or 350 hp in other words it doesn't do much beside noise factor at just stage
subiedad51
If you really want the CAI you'll get some noise (whoooooosh) but not much on the power side with a stock turbo and TMIC. If you decide to go with it either a protune or an etune. If you go etune Infamous1 on here is your man.
SubyShop.com
The stock intake is a bigger restriction than people give it credit. If you open up the exhaust, upgrade the intercooler, and run more boost, and then add a free flowing intake, gains can be had. The improvement was very noticeable on my car with the stock turbo. But yes, you need to rescale the MAF with a custom tune. -Franz
