one bad bg Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 hotwire is just the type of sensor thats in your maf. theres hotwire, flap, karman, and something else. basically its just the way the ecu read airflow amounts from your maf. if your car is stock or n/a, theres no point in getting a safc besides using the guages on it. the only reason i mention that is cause noone would care what type of sensor their maf had unless they were planning on getting an afc. is that what your thinking about?
