heresmymind
Time has come where I am going to turbo my legacy gt. I do not have thousands to spend on a swap due to being a fulltime student, but from having many friends in the subaru community I have been able to source lots of OEM turbo parts. So I will be doing a custom Turbo set up. Keep in mind my engine only has 30,000 miles on it! it runs like a top and still gets 25mpg city 29 highway! It will consist of : TD04 set at 7psi (debating ewg)WRX TMIC w/ loudest RFL valve I can find haha. (woo inner ricer)custom uppipe retaining my borla headers (no need for turbo cross member)custom downpipe with HFCstainless oil lines taped from oil galley, return to oil pan.RRFPRSTI fuel pump EM either pp6 or Megasquirt stand alone , Tune by EFI -B Teaser Pic http://i50.tinypic.com/2djnf53.jpg engine bay before the craziness begins! http://i46.tinypic.com/yhtth.jpg
amp27
dude. turboing these motors and like driving on rivers in November. i would never do it without building up the motor for the extra power. i know its only 7psi but still.

gathermewool
You're smart in getting a good tune, but high(er) compression motors don't need to detonate to wipe a bearing. Good luck with the build. I'm curious to see how it turns out! '15 FB25 Magnatec 0W-20 + FU filter (70,517 miles) RSB, Fr.
