lfrisé
I know that they're is a couple (rare) wheel in the 16" that fit on a LGT05+. Someone knows and can give me some example that do fit over the front brake LGT setup. Can someone tell me if a set of Volk CE28 16x7.5" with an offset of +46 would be good to go. I want to ride winter in 16" but in style...Please comment. Thanks,Carl
coldradio1
No offense, but 16s on a MKIV Legacy would look horrid. Plus, the volks that you speak of look a little weird. CE28s naturally look smaller than they are. With 16s they would look like 15s on your car. Dont do it.
Bolksey85
16" won't clear the brakes on a GT. 2.5i, yes. GT, no.

lfrisé
I know that the look will be different but I have seen people running 16'' on LGT05+. I will find the info for all of you. I just want to use some 16'' winter tire to give me some more damping since i`m using bilstein RevA and pink on my wagon. I really don,t care that they look small but I want them to look good. rnstein69
why not just go with 17's? And why spend so much on a set of wheels for the winter that will just get salt and grime all over them? To each his own I guess... I have the same wheel in 18 x 8.5 as my summer wheels and by no means do they look smaller than 18's: http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/data/519/medium/5_1.JPG http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/data/519/medium/4_1.JPG http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/data/519/medium/3_1.JPGhttp://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs179.snc1/6730_103220443021375_100000002601273_87360_3130655_n.jpghttp://hphotos-snc1.fbcdn.net/hs199.snc1/6730_103220439688042_100000002601273_87359_7197252_n.jpg
Bolksey85
If you can find 16" wheels that fit a USDM 05+ Legacy GT, you will surprise a lot of people. Until then, I still say 16's don't fit.

rnstein69
hmm.. I guess it is possible. But as far as a winter setup goes, IMO I would go with some decent but cheaper wheels than Volks, but that's just me.
Bolksey85
I hate to keep calling bluffs, but is that a GT or a 2.5i? Can't see badges or the front end.
lfrisé
It's one of the member and it is a LGT05, his user name on the montreal subaru club is CS, and I know him personnaly... Why would I want to bluff anyone if I'm trying to see if the volk would fit. I think I will go ahead and purchase them and find out by myself. I may have to use some small spacers (disk thickness) in the front!!!
