Fee Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 I had a creaking/groaning sound coming from both the pedal area, and the engine bay. It too would happen on the bottom 1/3 to 1/4 of the throw. I tried the switches but they all sounded fine, I tried wd40 in spots to no avail. I fixed mine yesterday and what it ended up being was the pushrod on the clutch master cylinder. For those who dont know its above the gas pedal and connected to the clutch pedal, it goes through the firewall through a rubber grommet. I sprayed that rod down with a little silicone spray and instantly the sound was gone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
