This is so tempting, anyone interested in some last minute Infineon?

***************

Greetings TMR All Wheel Drive vehicle owners,

As you may be aware TMR is running an event at Infineon this Saturday, Feb 6th. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has decided to keep the track wet all or part of the day, so this has scared many of the 2 wheel drive car owners away. This in-turn has put us 'in the red' for the event financially. In an effort to minimize our losses we have decided to release a handful of the event slots to those of you who 'laugh in the face of foul weather' and welcome the thought of driving in the wet! The all wheel drivers!

There are only a handful of these slots available, so if you want to get some practice in this weekend in your all wheel drive car, then reply to this message and let us know immediately. We will then confirm your slot and let you know how to submit fees.

Cost - This event had two entry levels - Tier 1 at $265(running a 3 run group format all day - 7 sessions), and Tier 2 at $200. (running 5 sessions) In the interest of time we're going to keep this simple and offer one entry fee for the All Wheelers at $140! Realistically, if it does rain there will be many 'no shows' the day of the event, which in-turn will open-up space in each of the 3 run groups. This means we will likely let you run as a Tier 1 driver.(3 group format and 7 or more sessions) Again, there are only a handful of these slots available, so if you want one you need to react & reply quickly!

Feel free to forward this to any of your fellow All Wheelers or post on any All Wheeler forums you may frequent. Have them contact us at tmr.trackevents@gmail.com . Sorry - No Novices that require instruction will be allowed to take advantage of these spaces.

Run Group Levels - Advanced, Mixed, and Intermediate. ('Mixed' is a combo of some Advanced and High Intermediate Drivers)

Thanks, and we hope to see some of you out on track this weekend - Rain or Shine!

It rained up until lunch, but was clear in the afternoon. It was weird to see all the miata's and lotus's goin so slow lol. Seemed like all the subies/Audi's/GTR's were going maybe twice as fast as everyone when the track was wet.

It was my first time at Infineon, so much fun. The walls weren't as scary as i thought except for turn 10. Oh I guess the pinwheel too since you're going WOT watching the big wall getting closer and closer.

Rain is awesome because it makes everything so much cheaper.

Nearly no tire or brake wear. Even less stress on the motor and driveline.

Plus when it rained at Putnam Park, i got to pass an F430. :)

nice!

I know what you mean. It was definitely easier on the tires & engine, barely used any gas cuz I couldn't floor it. At the end of the first 3 sessions, I barely used 1/4 tank of gas. But when it dried up, I burned through half a tank in 2 sessions xD

Thankfully gas at infineon isn't a rip off like thunderhill. It was actually cheaper than the stations near my house/work ($3.19 for 91)
