BarryT82
There are two rubber lines on top of the transmission in a white clip. Are they supposed to be connected to anything? The engine I got came with all the vacuum lines on it and I don't remember disconnecting anything there. I just want to make sure they are supposed to be open. The car runs fine and doesn't seem to have any issues. I did have a few codes because I forgot to connect the MAF wire. There was a code for something about transmission rpm's, but I cleared all the codes and they never came back.

BarryT82
Possibly. I just saw two rubber lines in a white clip. I have the electronic copy of the service manual, but it's missing info on the 5EAT.

sic GT
They are breather tubes. A few years back I asked the same queston when I was installing my Perrin TMIC and saw the lines exposed.
