Check engine light, VDC light is on, and cruise control and sport light is flashing

thanks Max Capacity, it will go in sport and intelligent with the blue light on but not sport#.

 

I dont actually know when the spark plugs were last changed as i only purchased the car a fortnight ago from a yard (it's a jap import with 140,000 on the clock).

 

I will take it back to them to get it sorted while its under warranty but would like to check the code myself as they do their warranty's in house instead of through an insurance provider and im worried they may just clear the error codes and say it was nothing (paranoid i know)

 

I will try MasAyinde's advice (which may be of no use to me due to being a jap import all words on the dash are in japanese) then check to see one of the two major auto parts stores will do a free scan

 

what does CC, CEL mean?

Thank you MasAyinde for this very cool tip, i will try it shortly but i may be out of luck as my car is a Japanese import with all words on dash display in Japanese.
