BruceBruce
I wanna get this thing out asap. I was going to have the dealer do it, but the tech just said it was pointless if i just did regular maintenance. I told him i atleast wanted to check it cause i just purchased this vehicle but he just shrugged it off. Said he had never done one before. I was wondering if there is anyone in central/socal that could help me do this. I can pay if needs be.
odenheimer
Have the dealer do it! Call SOA if you have to. They totally jacked up the design of the turbo...it needs to be checked, even under "regular maintenance!" What an ignoramus that person was. It took my dealer 2.5 hours to change it and Inever even found out if it was clogged.

papa g
http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61689 Check this out. This totally helped me. The hard part for me was getting one of the two seals back in there on install. Make sure you put some rags underneath when taking it apart because it will leak some oil down right on your exhaust. I still got some down there and it smoked like crazy until it all burned off. BE committed to DO what it takes to HAVE more of what you want in your life!!!
