svgt
Has anyone uncovered a common exhaust leak on the 05 lgt? I am having trouble reaching the boost levels I think I should be at and before I put her on jacks in January I figured I would send this out. I do have a Perrin DP and she is torqued right. I have checked for vacuum leaks and connections and they all seem good. This is my next step. I may be fooling myself but I think I can hear what sounds like a leak but I am not sure from where. Any ideas?
m sprank
Most common is the uppipe. But if you have not messed with it... What boost levels are you trying to hit?
svgt
Well I am really trying to get to 18-19psi. I have been in the low teens to 13psi max. I had the turbo replaced about 10k ago with the common banjo bolt fault associated with these. I had not had a cobb prior to that to compare boost levels before and after but it feels the same. You mentioned an up-pipe leak. Is that with aftermarket up-pipes or stock? I had planned on buying an aftermarket one and while installing it check the other connections for leaks. m sprank
Yes, need more info. You have a leak or a hose is off. Like the one off the BPV that goes to a tee under the IC.
svgt
Mods are Perrin DP, Full borla, Perrin TMIC, AEM CAI, and TA Stage II map. I checked the t under the IC and the other lines associated and they are all good.
