Jerk in a Bently

Yesterday, while driving home from work on the highway, I notice a larg black(ish) car weaving threw traffic and fast approching from the rear. I was nearing my exit and cruising behind some other cars in the right hand lane; thus out of this jackass' path of likely destruction. I notice at first that it's very "eropean" in design and the front looked a lot like an E-class M-B, just bigger. Like a giant, dark balistic missile on its final and terminal dropping path to earth the land yacht rushed past me. Noticing the winged emblem on the rear and having noted the grill and two doors I realized this was a new Bently Continental GT, the recent chosen chariot of the uber-rich and famous. In horrer of the accident that I new would follow I only watched as this overweight ship-with-wheels dove between and cutting off two cars ahead of me and then keep moving right onto the off-ramp that I was driving to. I live, for better or for worse, by the super casino Mohegan Sun. As if it was an act of God, no accident occured at that time. I followed the wreckless driver onto the of-ramp, despite my own misgivings, because I a) wanted to get home and b) wanted to watch the accident this fool will undoubtably cause. The end of the ramp dumps driver off onto Rt. 2A a small freeway that despite the one off-ramp (where I live) is essentially the state funded and maintained entrance road to the casino. I continued to watch this person weave past other cars that were not doing 100mph at the time.

 

When I become uber-rich I too will drive as if I own the road with total impunity and disreguard to the safety of all the little people. What a jackass.
