Team Voodoo Shift Knob

Just wanted to share pix of my new shift knob, since I haven't seen any of these on Leggies yet: it's a Team Voodoo Magnum knob, in the Pearl finish. The Pearl finish looks great with my interior, IMHO - the color of the knob is a close match to the color of the trim panels along the side of the console, just a tad lighter.

 

Voodoo knobs are legendary in the Miata community, and I absolutely loved mine back when I had a Miata. So when I saw that they have a Subaru fitment I had to give it a try. Fantastic!

Since this knob doesn't have the collar to hold up the shift boot, I made my own. I have access to a "3D Printer" FDM machine at work, so I just designed a little ring, made it, and snapped it into the top of the boot before I screwed on the shift knob.

I had one on my Prelude, loved it. Will definitely pick one up when the leather on my shift knob goes.
