peteyjr
Changed my oil yesterday and started fiddling with the stock endlinks (tried to remove one as I am in the group buy for the MSI units). Noticed the stock links are pretty shot mated up to my Progress bars. I stuck a 12 mm socket on them and lo and behold, they spun without ever loosening. Anyone ever have this problem. I'm going to have to Dremel them out it looks unless someone has a better idea.
yamie700
You have to put an allen wrench in the middle and hold that while you have a box end wrench to spin the nut off. I had one of the allen recessed areas strip out though, and had to get creative to get one of mine off.
TRS
I believe there is a opening in the end of the bolt to insert a hex key to keep it from turning while you use a box or open end wrench on the nut. Let soak with a Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster type penetrating oil first.
peteyjr
Thanks, The rust on the bolt was hiding hex openning. Makes sense why I couldn't pull them. Looking forward to replacing these flimsy little friggers
