BobsYourUncle Posted January 11, 2010 Share Posted January 11, 2010 I am hoping there are some geniuses on this board because I have had this problem for over a year now, and I cant get anyone to figure it out.... It doesnt happen all the time, but my 08 Legacy 2.5i (when accelerating) will hesitate from 1st to 2nd on the shift. It will either bog the engine down and kick into gear, or rev high (like it is in neutral) then slam into gear. That sounds more dramatic when I type it...it is a bit more subtle than that, but you get the idea. Could it be more than the transmission? Of course when I bring it in for service the techs "cant replicate it" and I get to look like a jerk. gb003a Posted January 15, 2010 Share Posted January 15, 2010 Yours is N/A engine right? I have the same problem but mine is 3.0 w/5eat. I took mine in to the dealer and they reset something and it was a little better but now it's coming back again. I plan on taking it back again.
