phillyflyers50
I have a 2006 Legacy 2.5i Limited. Last week I had a orange drink spill in my car. It got on some of the buttons and in the gear selector (Auto). Thankfully everything still works but some of the radio buttons and air condition controls are sticky. It is hard to change gears now (Going from Park to Drive etc... It's really hard to move it and I'm afraid something might break). I know I'm going to have to clean everything. My question is what is the easiest way to remove the stereo so I can clean the buttons and air condition buttons. Also what is the best way to remove the area around the gear selector so I can clean that too? Thanks for the help. I looked around on here for similar threads but didn't see anything about spilled drinks.
Onthewagon
Philly, look for a thread on installing an OEM subwoofer. If you go to the MySubaru site, you can also find the install manual. The manual will tell you how to take apart the console and pull the radio out. GL
