leighos Posted March 30, 2005 Share Posted March 30, 2005 Hi to all, I have just about had enough of the hassles I get from my twin turbo EJ20. Since its done about 190,000km, its time for a change. So how about a single turbo EJ20 conversion? Sounds simple enough, but i'm sure it wont be. A few guys here convert their EJ20H's to a single turbo layout, i'm not entirely sure the details of the conversion (intake/exhaust manifolds, ecu, etc) but i have heard they can be difficult to get to run well. My preference would be to go for a WRX engine - has anyone out there done this? can I use my original BD-5 5speed gearbox? Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Leighos.
