derkahn
that would make it like one turn lock to lock.. I agree with the ALK making a lot of difference in the cars stability.. FYI L&E uses a 1.5 to 1 quickener on most of their racks.. but they can use a 2-1 my car is about 2 turns lock to lock... a factory rally car is about 1.5 turns lock to lock.. seems like a small difference but 1.5 to 2 is huge. http://fiestas2000.com/index.php/technical-a-parts/technical-specifications
sub4ru
Add me to the list of users with this mod. It took me about 3 hours to swap the racks. I'm sure I could do it quicker the next time but I wasted a lot of time lining up the universal joint. The steering is noticibly heavier, but not too bad. My first thought was, "it's like having no power steering." The effort does not change much when up at speed, except that it's tougher at 0 MPH. mwm5094
I use this. I guarantee I can steer faster than ANYONE! http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h443/mwm5094/CDUEd82kKGrHqYOKkE0f5BWpDMBNOIcDbdyg_3.jpg
