Tinman
I am a newbie when it comes to audio installation. I am reusing the factory speaker wires to save me time pulling new wires through the car. I have a popping noise after I connected the wires. (Alpine 600 components) What could I have done wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oops, never mind. My bad. I fixed it.

Tinman
I was using the existing wires to the tweeter. I capped those off and it sounds fine. Learning on the fly. I've never done a stereo install before. I am done with the speakers, next up is the amp, sub, and MTX Re-q5. I need to go to Home Depot and buy some 3/4" MDF for the rack. I have everything else. I am going to put the rack in above the spare tire.

markc0220k
i just installed (just driver's side) a front spk. yes, no need spacer. gap is about 4+inches (almost 5). took a lot of pics. the most hardest part should be feeding a wire from the door to the body...
