Tronix
Well i just completed step 1. I cut my resonator out and welded up a straight pipe with some pipe I had laying around the shop. 1st impression... nada. It didnt really do anything. I hear very little differences and its mostly in the higher RPM's.. Owell, I guess it will do its job after I get the new mufflers. I'm going with the Magnaflow 6" rounds with 2" center. I did fire the car up with open exhaust.. OMG I love the sound of that boxer rumble, just wish I could hear more of it. Here's a shot of my ghettofabulous fabrication handywork... http://www.tcforum.com/tronix/legacy/midpipe1.jpg -Tronix(Royal Rumble)GT for more pics and info... http://angevine.org/legacy/legacy.html
BadAndy
The stock mufflers are really really good at muffling the exhaust LoL!!!!
rodan
With a 3" pipe to the axle and Spintechs mine was too loud w/o a resonator...as mentioned, the stock mufflers are pretty quiet...
Tronix
heh, very quiet. I liked the sound of the open exhuast. If i can get it to make the same sound, but not quite as loud and not backfire i'll be set! -Tronix(hush cannons)GT for more pics and info... http://angevine.org/legacy/legacy.html
